Residencies & Events

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The estate was originally gifted to Sir John Churchill by Queen Anne in 1704 and when a number of beech trees fell last year I collaborated with the estate to create a variety of pieces allowing guests to take a truly unique piece of history home with them.

Diddly Squat Farm Shop

A few miles down the road from the Heathwold Woodturning workshop is Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farmshop and I recently joined one of their weekend markets.

Miserden

The team at Miserden got in touch hoping to collaborate on some exclusive pieces. With 900 acres of woodland across the estate, the husbandry of this land means a constant supply of fresh wood so we came up with the idea to turn it into something special. The sale of each piece helps support the estate.

Artweeks

The Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s oldest and biggest artist open studios and pop-up exhibition event and are always a brilliant experience. I often exhibit alongside complementary artists. One of my favourite fellow exhibitors is Chris Townsend. I have a number of his pieces all around my house and garden, some practical but mostly just wonderfully decorative. You can find out more about what’s going on and upcoming exhibitions here: https://www.artweeks.org/festival.

Vigour & Skills

As part of the Vigour and Skills team I have recently displayed my work and processes at London Craft Week, Thyme at Southrop Manor, and The Yard Hampshire.

Christmas Markets

I’ve exhibited at a number of Christmas Markets, I love connecting with people and helping them to find the perfect gift for their loved ones.

The Milton Market

Heathwold Woodturning is based in the village of Milton-Under-Wychwood in the Cotswolds. Twice a year the village plays host to a market showcasing the best Makers, Bakers, Shakers & Creators rooted in the Cotswolds.
